Beauty eco friendly brand: Ksoni

As you may know, I am committed to make better sustainable choices in my life.

If you have read my previous blog post - find the link here - I am part of the community of Ethical Influencers. Despite I consider myself more a photographer than an influencer - still coming to terms with this word...- there is no harm on influence other people to do good, right?

That is why I decided to start sharing the changes I am making and the new eco friendly businesses that I am discovering.

This week I want to introduce you to Ksoni.

Ksoni means "Earth" in Sanskrit, and it was created by Joti and Banasa. Realising of the amount of plastic was going to waste and spotting a gap in the beauty market for eco friendly products, they decided to launch a natural beauty brand with the commitment to offer a 100% plastic-free product for the bathroom. And that is how Ksoni was born :)

They kindly sent me Ksoni X Lizzies Lines Intro Set, which is a collaboration with the artist Lizzies Lines that explore the theme of Sustainable Self Love.

There are 3 different scents and my favourite one is Zakti ( which means invigorating). I have been using it for a month and I love the smell and fresh feeling due to the citrus component! It just feels great to use it in the morning - I guess that is why they described as the refreshing shampoo - and my hair has been feeling stronger and looking shinier.

Apart from that, I find their packaging very original. It is shampoo in a can! And why a can? On their website they explained the different reasons why to use aluminium to bottle their shampoos. One of them is that aluminium is infinitely recyclable, the 75% of aluminium ever produced is still in use today! I had no clue, so I am happy I have got to learn that!

So I am very glad I discovered Ksoni: I like their commitment with being an eco friendly brand and I will keep trying their products. I think I want to give a go to their conditioner, so I will keep you posted with which products I will try from Ksoni!

If you decide to give Ksoni a go, let me know which product you get! I would love to know your recommendations! :)
